Here at Lucci Music we do not waste our students' time teaching them to just "play" songs or "how to rock". We strive to teach our students to be able to teach themselves.

No matter the instrument: guitar, piano, voice, drum, violin, saxophone lessons... and from ages 6 to adult, you will achieve a foundation of technique, theory, ear training, and listening skills. While learning the fundamentals, we also guide and encourage our students to really start playing music... drills, theory, and exercises are all necessary, and can be fun, but it is all pointless unless the student can apply it and really play music.

Matthew Lucci

Music Director

Entrepreneur, studio musician, and performer: Lucci played upright bass for the Alaska Wind Ensemble, studied music at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and at one point had a single on the radio. As a studio musician he recorded guitar tracks for 2 chart topping singles.

Scott Barbier

Scott M. Barbier has been playing drums professionally for more than 31 years in the Colorado Springs, CO area. He joined the United States Air Force Academy Band in 1981 and performed nationally and internationally with Wild Blue Country, Blue Steel, Moods in Blue, Solaris, Concert Band and the Falconaires

Autumn is a native of Wisconsin and has played in orchestras across the country that include the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, New World Symphony Orchestra, and Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia

Barbara Benecke

Flute & Piano Lessons

Barbara Benecke was born into a musical family and discovered a love for music at a very young age. She double-majored in Flute Performance and Music Education at California State University Fullerton.

Randy Ruebsamen

Guitar Lessons

Randy Ruebsamen studied music in college and has had the opportunity to tour the globe and play on stages large and small with the likes of Margaret Becker, Kelley Minter, Jesse Butterworth, Kim Hill, Phil Driscol, Nate Rees, Rene', The Rez Band, The Choir, and The Alter Boys.
