Piano Lessons in Baton Rouge LA by Piano Pathways

We are a professional, yet comfortable, studio business that offers exceptional piano education for all ages, ability levels, and student goals. Students are encouraged to participate in local festivals, adjudications, studio classes, and recitals throughout the year to showcase their current work in lessons. Students have participated in and placed in the LSU Sonatina and Bach Festival, the BRMTA Romantic and Contemporary Tournament, Baton Rouge District Rally, and the Torgrimson/Swanzey State Competition.

Students also participate in an end-of-the semester formal recital, preparing an exceptional work by memory to perform for an audience.

Rebecca Bellelo

A National Certified Teacher of Piano, Rebecca C. Bellelo is pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Education at Louisiana State University. As the M&DA graduate student recipient of the prestigious Flagship Assistantship in the year 2008, she has served as a graduate assistant to the music education department by assisting with the teaching of and practicum experiences in the classes Principles of Teaching Elementary School Music and Teaching Music in Diverse Settings.

I am soooo lucky to have Mrs. Rebecca as a piano teacher! She makes my lessons so much fun. When she gives me a new piece, she walks me through it so I feel confident playing it by myself when I get home. She has a lot of patience and always encourages me to practice and to do my best. Mrs. Rebecca is the best piano teacher anyone could have!

I like the improvisation where Ms. Rebecca plays and I get to play music that I create. I also like the piano vacations. I love how she guides me through the pieces when I have trouble. Ms. Rebecca is easy-going and fun!

Kelsie started her 6th year of piano lessons with Rebecca this year and we are so glad she now has her own piano studio. She is a wonderful teacher and musician and we can hear the difference after every lesson. Our whole family, even the dogs who sing along at times, highly value and enjoy being associated with weekly piano lessons with Rebecca (soon to be Dr. Rebecca!)
