Your child has expressed a desire to take piano lessons. Following are a few points I would like to share with you: First of all, progress will be determined by your child's desires and ambitions. Piano lessons will challenge your child. My commitment to you is to help them achieve the potential that they are capable of. Therefore, it is necessary that your child has a commitment to learn, and practice daily. To start and then stop in two months or so considered, would be a waste of your time and money, but please understand, anything worth learning is worth working at.
Secondly, if you have a piano, that is good. If not, it would be advantageous to buy one. The kind you choose is not important, it can be new or used. What is important is that it is properly tuned. I can recommend a piano tuner if you do not know of one.Thirdly, regarding music books, we use the Bastien Piano Basics for children in first and second levels. After that, I will recommend the books that you will need to get. Some books and music I will provide for your use.

Stella has been my children's teacher for the last three years. After a long search I finally found the teacher right for my four children - well educated, strict and fair. It's a pitty there aren't more teacher like Stella nowadays. My husband and I are so thankful for all she has done for our children.
