Hello! My name is Jared. I teach private home piano, guitar and drum lessons as well as songwriting and music theory. I teach lessons around the Toledo and the general Northwest Ohio area including Perrysburg, Maumee, Sylvania, Oregon, Waterville and a little ways across the border.Music lessons are conveniently taught in your home on a weekly basis. A variety of styles are taught, including rock, pop, classical, jazz, blues, electronic, and anything else you might enjoy.The emphasis is on learning through enjoyment, not through rote learning. By incorporating current trends with tried and true methods, everyone has the chance to learn to play!

I began playing piano when I was 8 and studied in college as well as in studios and on the road, touring. Having had the great pleasure of recording and playing with a number of artists on piano, guitar and drums, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with those new to music as well as jaded old souls.
