Tustin Music Center

My two kids used to play the trumpet and the flute. We come to this place a couple of times a year to buy musical sheets of paper. They like to write their own songs and this place sells them at a cheap price. This place is pretty nice; they sell instruments from other countries and culture, not just musical instruments that we are used to seeing.

My son has been taking guitar lessons for almost a year now here at Tustin Music and I've got to say WOW at the quality of education that comes from the wonderful teachers here! He has improved so quickly! Definite A+. The teachers are fantastic, the staff are fantastic, and the education is golden!

I've been taking piano lessons here for a year and a half, and definitely have to give kudos to New Tustin Music. I'm not musically inclined at all, yet somehow after working hard with my teacher and following her instruction, I've become this piano-playing machine :]! I have so much more confidence in my ability, and am greatly in debt to the great services offered here. thank you so much!

Offer some quality low prices countryman mini microphones gentleman seem interested and told me he would call me the falling week.weeks have passed and I never heard anything from him to this day. Not really professional if you ask me.

We have been at Tustin Music Center for many years now and are so thankful for Brendan. He is an incredible Piano teacher. He has been teaching my daughter since Kindergarten and she getting ready to start middle school. She has become such a gifted pianist and he's moved her through the foundational books and mixes things up with her to learn popular music that keeps her motivated to keep going.

Music is so valuable in childhood development and I am so thankful for this place and his training. I would recommend TMC to anyone! We got to see a showcase of many other talented musicians in the Holiday program this year and I'm so impressed with what these students are learning here. The teachers have some impressive pedigrees and the business owner is pretty talented as well. If you're ready and willing to do the work it takes to become a musician you're in the right place at Tustin Music Center.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM MUSIC LESSONS HERE. We traded in our son's violin for a pair of clarinet lessons with Victor, who I would not trust around anyone's children. Our 11 year old son, who loves the clarinet and absolutely loves music class in school, was shamed for not being as good a clarinet player as the instructor (who spent a considerable amount of time during the lesson showing off and playing the instrument instead of trying to teach).

The instructor, Victor, ridiculed our son for not knowing how to read music well, and also took posters down off of the walls when he said the boy was being distracted. When our son was crying, the instructor, Victor, even blamed our son and said, "Why are you crying? I didn't do anything." This clarinet instructor, Victor, is absolutely terrible with children and I can't believe he does this for a living.

After the session, he was brazen enough to psychoanalyze the child IN FRONT OF HIM and say that "he doesn't take constructive criticism well." Telling someone that they aren't good enough or are doing something wrong is not constructive criticism. There's nothing constructive about derisive language. An entry-level child student is looking for instruction, support, and uplifting, not negative reinforcement. Instead of clarinet lessons, what we received was abuse and an insult to music instructors everywhere. TERRIBLE. 0/5 stars

I go for my musician necessities or when in need of instrument repair. This music shop has many traditional music instruments available for rental or to buy. The music library provides plenty of practice and performance material for all skill levels on any instrument. Best of all, this place offers educational services with a high quality instructional staff, providing quality fun for anyone learning music.

If your a vocalist or play an instrument of any age or skill level you can receive private lessons, rehearse with small ensembles and perform at community events! Get involved with music at the Tustin Music Center.

So helpful! Lots of product, had exactly what we needed plus stuff we didn't know existed that now we need.:-

We showed up to my daughters scheduled lesson at 4:30 and the instructor wasn't there so they told us to come back next week for an hour lesson at 4 pm. So come the following week. we call to let them know we would be a few minutes late and he says that our lesson isn't until 4:30!? Which was confusing because they had scheduled us for a full hour the previous week.

He said he would offer a credit for the lesson. But that was it. No apology no accountability, nothing. Super rude and left us feeling so confused. Decided that was it. Looking for a new spot.

A place that we love to go. We got all our kids instruments from there. Very good condition used with very nice prices. Highly recommended for lessons, purchase and renting

Tustin Music Center - a fantastic, hometown music school and store with a great group of staff and teachers. My son has greatly benefited from the excellent teaching and our whole family loves coming in and learning about the wide variety of instruments on display.

Sold me a nice little Tagima guitar that I had never heard anything about. It was made of mahogany, very light with a big sound. I was looking for something that would give a nice bossa nova type sound.maybe because it was made in Brasil?.Luke was also very nice also. If you are looking for a light inexpensive guitar with a big sound with advance electronics you might want to look into.

The owner (wife) is extremely rude. Came in to buy a shoulder rest for my daughters violin. Asked for a specific brand, told me that they do not carry it and said that brand sucked. Told me to buy a no name brand which was more expensive than a major brand. No thanks. Rather buy it from Amazon.

One of best local music shops with many products, guidance and high-quality lessons. The shop was awarded as the best music shop in OC by OC supervisor in 2016. Especially Luke, the branch manager is super knowledgeable, kind and experienced. I recommend to everyone for your musical needs and education.

Great music center! Friendly staff that is always willing to help you out. I was looking to purchase a cello fir my daughter but didn't want to spend thousands of dollars. The sales person (I forgot his name) took time to help me and find a cello that wasn't too expensive but also good quality. My daughter loves her cello! We will be coming here for all our music needs from here on out!

The guy who was working here at the time I came to try on different shoulder rests was so welcoming and patient. I was already pleased, as I was trying them on when he said that if I kinda liked one but it wasn't 100% satisfactory, I could come in a month or so later when they've gotten more variety of shoulder rests. I cannot express how pleasant the experience here was.

We needed my son's saxophone looked at for repair. Luke told us to bring it down. He fiddled with a few things, ordered us a screw to put in later, and made sure it was playable until then. Awesome customer service and knowledgeable. Sent us away with no charge for services. Amazing!

Hi son just started going to Tustin Music Center, and his Piano teacher is Spencer. My son loves coming to learn how to play piano, and teacher Spencer makes it fun for my son. Spencer does not waste my son's time and make sure that my child learns. He has passion on teaching kids, and I could see that whenever he teaches my son. I highly recommend this place.

I need to help to change my violin string. This place is great, price is reasonable and fast service.

Our family really appreciates the people at Tustin Music Center. Kyle gave our son lessons for the ukulele, and Kyle has been creative, kind, and thoughtful. Sometimes Kyle energized the lessons with other instruments, such as drums, so our son benefitted from that (and had a lot of fun). Kyle taught from various angles, from chords and strumming to rhythm and singing.

Our son always looked forward to his lessons. I have also taken guitar lessons from Nicholas. Nicholas was patient, drew examples from many forms of music, and gave helpful notes to take home and practice. He paid careful attention to the details of how to play correctly so that bad habits would not form. Nicholas also enjoyed discussing the philosophy of music and sound, which enhanced the lessons.

My son sees Brandon for the piano and my daughter sees Dan for the guitar. Brandon is awesome--My son's eye light up when it's time for practice. Dan is also great for guitar. He's super nice, patient and my daughter really likes him. The place is busy but it's doesn't bother us. We show up on time and it's 30 mins and we are out. Parking kinda sucks because the plaza is busy but you get use to that over time

A very nice place, my son some how managed to get the bridge of his violin off the violin and it was completely unplayable. I took it to Tustin music center, the staff was honest and very helpful. He tried to fix it but quickly realized that the violin needed more work than just fixing the bridge. I went back to the store the next day and was surprised that they put a new bridge on the violin and the violin sounded so much better.

They didn't charge me for the time that they spent on fixing just the cost of the bridge, I am very grateful for their services. An honest, knowledgeable music store, I will be looking to start my son on taking lessons at the music center. Overall, an A+ place to go to, thank you Tustin Music Center!

They have a mini piano outside. Love watching little kids bang on it with tons of excitement while walking through this plaza. Great family owned spot. They sell used instruments. Great for beginners And kids.

Nice group of people but not worth it. Practices are schedule back to back without a minute to spare & therefore you lose out on a full 30 mins of learning. Instructor rushes student & constantly checks the time during the session.

Love this place! Dr. Kim always does his best to make us happy and the teachers are always cheerful, there is a wide variety of professionals to work with! I went there for guitar and voice lessons and actually enjoyed taking music lessons for the first time in a while. They also offer a wide range of services (rent, buyback, trade, etc) definitely my go-to.

Wonderful staff! Wish our instructors didn't keep having babies though :. On to our 3rd teacher in 1 year.

Olivia is my daughter teacher. she is the best for Kids. She knows very well how to work with the small kids to make it fun for them. The desk staff are great they help you very well and they are very flexible. My Daughter is always excited for her class.

Kyle is our music teacher, and he is the best. The kids look forward to their lessons with him, as he makes it fun and engaging. One thing that makes him stand out from other music teachers is that he is open with his feedback and willing to be flexible, based on the kids' changing musical interests.

The Tustin Music Center has a great desk staff to help you organize lessons, and the instructors, Kip and Neal, are excellent. My kids are always excited about going to their lessons.
