D&Y studios is a wonderful place to learn music for beginners and seasoned musicians alike. Yoko and Dillip are warm, compassionate and are genuinely involved with the development of their students. They are artists and musicians and welcome people in like family. So grateful to be a part of their community. Our 7 yo son has developed a love for piano and that would not have happened if it wasn't for Mrs. Yoko. Thank you!

I began taking guitar lessons with Dilip when I was in middle school, so I was about 10 or 11 years old. I'm 35 now. I consider him to be my first mentor in life. As a kid, I looked forward to my lessons with him. My parents were very happy with my progress and with Dilip's teaching style. When he could tell that I practiced my sheet music and I did well, he rewarded me by teaching me songs on the radio that I liked.

During that time, alternative music was popular so he taught me songs by Silver Chair, Nirvana, and many others! In high school, I became very busy with the rigors of advanced classes, sports, and extra curricular activities so naturally I had to make the difficult decision of taking guitar lessons off my plate. However, I learned so much in that short period of time at the studio. Dilip enriched my life by teaching me guitar and music, skills that I will possess for a lifetime.

When I want to relax, I play my guitar. It's therapeutic. I even went back to his studio and took lessons again after college on and off. We are friends till this day and text each other to joke about life in general. I am very grateful and fortunate to have Dilip as a friend and music teacher. If you're thinking about music lessons, I highly recommend Dilip, his wife Yoko (who is one of the most talented musicians I've ever seen!), or any of the other highly qualified music teachers at D and Y Music Studios. Not only is Dilip an amazing teacher, he's a good person with a big heart. He and the studio are a great asset to the community!

I began taking lessons at D&Y Music studios when I was 6 and it was one of the best decisions my parents ever made for me. I take piano lessons with Mrs. Yoko and every week I look forward to attending my lessons. Not only is Mrs. Yoko an incredibly talented pianist, she is also an amazing teacher who cares deeply about her students. She teaches with passion and pushes her students to become the best pianist they can be.

Not only has Yoko taught me everything I know about classical piano and how to play, but she has also taught me discipline and responsibility, something I'm very thankful for. She's trained me to become the classical pianist I am today. I will always recommend Yoko and everyone else at D&Y to people. Yoko's husband, Dilip is also an incredible teacher and guitarist. If you want you or your kids to, not only learn how to play an instrument but to love it, then I recommend D&Y Music Studios.

Excellent studio! I've been taking classes with Ms. Yoko for over a year now, and my sister's been with her for four. Over this time, I've seen myself progress so much. It's hard to juggle life as a student and still have the time to practice, but Ms. Yoko has challenged me and pushed me to not give up and move forward. She truly cares for her students and while she's strict (which I definitely need), she's very understanding.

She's a very talented pianist, and I've attended many of her concerts. He's a great example to her students. I'm really thankful to D and Y for providing such quality education.

I've been a student under Yoko Kothari for years and have thoroughly enjoyed studying under her expertise. I have nothing but respect for this woman and the talent that she has. Time and time again she has molded me into the well-trained pianist I am today, and prepared me to attend schools such as BAK MSOA and Dreyfoos School of the Arts. I consider her not to only be my piano teacher, but she has also become apart of my family. I highly recommend taking lessons from her for students who are willing to commit.

My kids have been taking piano lessons at D & Y Studios for nearly a year and I'm very satisfied with our experience. The kids love Ms Yoko and I've heard positive feedback from other parents. The thing I like the most about Ms Yoko is that she is strict about progress in my boys but also very loving. She also emphasizes personal responsibility in them. Highly recommended.

I am a pretty advanced pianist but was looking for a teacher who would help me with some challenges I was facing with some pieces. I was excited about my first lesson with Ms Kothari but left very disappointed. She barely let me play and my questions went unanswered. She seems to have a big ego but when she played for me I wasn't too impressed.

We are so lucky to have Dilip and Yoko here in Palm Beach County! Dilip is an incredibly gifted classical guitarist who teaches accoustic and rock guitar. He also plays and teaches bass. Our kids love him - he makes learning fun. Yoko is a world class pianist who teaches kids who really want to achieve - from first grade up through college, if they have the determination to stick with it.

Our daughter is 10 years old and can play Bach and Beethoven -- she's been with Yoko for five years now. And the best part is she loves her lessons. D & Y also offers drum and voice lessons. It is a rare gem here in Palm Beach County. And your first lesson is always free!
