Carlier's School Of Guitar Unlike other stores where lessons can be interrupted by loud amps of customers trying out guitars, drums, horns and other musical merchandise, "Carlier's School of Guitar and Music" is based on a one on one approach to both teaching and sales. Instead of offering small teaching booths we have a large and open teaching room with all of the modern conveniences such as amps, Internet access, effects. We'll even provide an instrument if needed.

The studio is built around the comfort and convenience of the student and provides a comfortable waiting area for the parent. The lesson methods are also built around the needs of the students where they can chose the approach that would be best for them and their musical needs. All teaching plans are made for the individual.

Frank is a great teacher and a very talented guitarist. He is extremely patient and down to earth. In addition, he has some great stories to tell! He is very flexible in scheduling his time. I take lessons basically once per 3 or 4 weeks and he finds the time to fit me in on short notice. He is an excellent guy and teacher.

Going to carlier's guitar for over a year now. On a scale of 1 to 10 you get to 10. You will never be a more educated and real person. I would recommend Frank anybody!

Frank has taught me guitar going on 2 years. I'm 76 and he has been so patient with me I can't believe it. He has figured out ways for me to learn when I was almost ready to give up. I constantly run into musicians who know and respect Frank. The consensus is Frank is the best guitar teacher for young and old in the Southeast.

Frank has been my bass teacher for 2 years. He pays close attention to what skills you have, and will create exercises and lesson plans to help you get better. He has helped me to expand my skills and make the best use of the entire fretboard. When I play with my out-of-town family they all comment how well I've progressed.

"I love my musician friends because they hold up a mirror and show us our better selves. The best of them are welcoming, kind, quirky and generously share their knowledge and talent. Frank is all of this and more. He has no set method to his approach but he customizes his teaching to specifically focus on what his students need. He can teach the basics to someone who is picking up the guitar for the first time or he can be a kind of coach and arranger able to work with those who have been playing all their lives and want to continue to learn and move their abilities up to a new level. And he does all of this in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere and a lot of laughter. Frank will give you what you need and he's a terrific teacher."

Frank is one of a kind! Great teacher. Both of my boys continued their guitar lessons at Carlier's School of Guitar when we moved to SC. Frank fueled their love of music and BOTH boys, now 18 and 19 are still playing!

I learned more from Frank in the 7 months that I have been taking lessons from him than I did in the 4 1/2 years of playing before that. He knows the guitar as well as I know the English language, but he still explains things well and on my level.
