Sarai Artzer

Voice, Piano

Sarai is in her third year as a Music Education major at Vanguard University, where she is currently studying voice. She has played the piano for 7 years, and has been an active vocalist for 8. In the past two years she has toured most of the Western States, New York, and China with a number of vocal groups

Jerad Atherton

Guitar, Bass, Drums

Jerad is a music producer, multi-instrumentalist, music director, worship leader, husband, and father. He is the Associate Pastor of Worship Arts at Newport Mesa Church. Jerad has been playing music for over 20 years and received his BA degree in 2004 from Vanguard University with a major in Music with an emphasis in guitar performance.

Megan Grafton-Cardwell

Violin

Megan received her Undergraduate degree at Biola University in Viola and Voice Performance. She has been teaching for over 10 years and really enjoys teaching people of all ages and helping them to express themselves through music. She currently plays in multiple Indi/Rock bands as well as hip hop and folk music.

Katie Kuroshi

Piano, Voice

Inspired to play the piano when she was very young, Katie showed exuberant promise to play and to create. She started taking lessons at the age of five and began experimenting with songwriting as soon as she could carry a tune. She began composing in Junior High.

My son is taking piano lessons from Angele and she is so warm, caring and truly wants to teach young kids the value of learning of how to play the piano. Not only does she teaches piano, she also introduces the kids to different composers, what their styles are and how to truly listen to the forgotten art of classical music. She is also teaching my son a few of his favorite pieces from John Williams. I highly recommend this program!

Dexter Music Academy works hard at finding the right instructor for you and your child's needs. We wanted my son to continue to want to play piano after taking a break from 3 years of playing. We had some scheduling challenges based on our location and small window of time we could schedule a lesson. DMA found an instructor who challenges my son both in theory and in what he plays. My son looks forward to his lessons and has developed the confidence to play alongside other young musicians.
