Smith Whitley Music is proud to offer the areas most diverse and experienced teaching staff. We teach lessons for the earliest beginner to the most advanced players. We have instructors for Guitar, Bass, Violin, Piano, Banjo, Mandolin, Uke, and Saxophone. Lessons are $70.00 a month. This covers one 1/2 hour private lesson each week.

Kirby Smith
Kirby Smith is the founder and co- owner of Smith and Whitley Music. Kirby has over 35 years of teaching and playing experience. His teaching specialties are Guitar and Mandolin. On guitar Kirby is most influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Tony Rice. While on mandolin Kirby admires the playing of Sam Bush, Bill Monroe, and David Grisman.

Mars Bound Mind - Tide (Single)
One of my favorite songs ever! The main riff was written by me back in 1992-3, and the rest in 1999. This was one of the first Mars Bound Mind songs.
