The Choi Violin Studio is offering violin and viola students the opportunity to learn from our vast knowledge received from years of music conservatory training. Our goal is simply to develop key individuality and self-confidence while attaining a disciplined approach to music.
We are offering one-to-one violin and viola lessons to all levels age six to adult. Each student will have weekly lessons of 45 or 60 minutes. We offer adjusted teaching methods to each student's different goals and needs. In order for students to develop interests and a passion through their accomplishments, a regular practice schedule is required.

This review is based upon my experience with multiple violinists. These lessons are the best for anyone motivated and willing to work hard. You will not be coddled. The emphasis is on discipline, proper intonation, technique and knowledge of basic theory. Be prepared to develop all major scales, though you are offered a variety of scale methods. You will use etudes as proper foundation for technique, again, a wide range for different tastes.
You will be schooled in meter and prepared in every way to join an orchestra or ensemble. Your musical preferences are always taken into account so you will not be forced to play pieces you don't like. Your teachers are performing violinists/violists, not secondary school music teachers. Lesson cost is reasonable.
