Ariana is a professional violinist and instructor who runs a private studio in central Connecticut where she offers violin lessons to students of all ages and ability levels. Her students participate in numerous musical activities throughout the year, including studio recitals, practice workshops, group classes, and practice-a-thons. Ariana is a Suzuki violin teacher registered with Suzuki Association of America to teach Suzuki Violin School Books 1 - 8.

The Suzuki Method is a world-famous system for learning to play an instrument based on the philosophy that every child can learn music. The creator, Dr. Shinichi Suzuki of Japan, recognized a distinct connection between learning one's native language and learning music. We learn language from our surrounding environment. For instance, a child born in Japan and brought to the United states will learn to speak American English through imitation and repetition. Students who are feeling under the weather or who are unable to travel to their lesson due to an unforeseen circumstance are now able to take their lesson via Skype! The option of remote lessons is not just for newcomers, but for all of my students to take advantage of this fantastic technology! When students have questions between lessons, they can show me exactly what they need. When students go on vacation or are under the weather, they can keep up with their musical education to return to my studio without missing a beat.
