Musical Beginnings

Musical Beginnings offers private lessons in voice, piano, violin, drum, and guitar. Private lessons are individual and taught weekly, one teacher to one student. Lesson times are arranged at a convenient time for both the teacher and the student. Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length. Each student is given the opportunity to perform in a recital during each semester.

Research shows that early exposure to music is critical to your child's total development and can make a significant impact on lifelong learning; early musical study can benefit both parents and children. Kuansin Engebretson established the school in 1998 with the positive long-term effects of music education in mind. The school has grown from just a few Kindermusik classes to a vibrant center of music education serving over 500 students throughout West Alabama.
