The Academy Of The Percussive Arts It is our mission to provide every student the encouragement, knowledge, performance skills, and experience needed to succeed in their musical goals. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a positive artistic approach to music through the blending of our knowledge, skills, and experience.

The Academy of the Percussive Arts utilizes a wide range of instruments to develop, hone, and challenge students. We not only teach a large variety of drums, but also timpani, marimba, and a host of other percussive instruments to create and maintain a well-rounded understanding of percussion, not just "drumming".

Report
We offer one-on-one instruction from one of our professional drum or percussion teachers. A personalized curriculum is created for each student based on his or her goals. In an effort to meet the students' best interests, the curriculum can be adapted to the changing nature of these goals. Students are not limited to one area of instruction. We encourage artistic growth and offer instruction on all available drum and percussion instruments. Areas of study include: drum set, snare drum (marching and orchestral), marimba, timpani, xylophone, vibraphone, bells, orchestral percussion, and many more!
