Students/customers appreciate my friendly and sincere personality, abilities, passion, and patience. They also love our jam sessions, among other things too numerous to mention.
Lessons are weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 1:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The time length of each lesson is 30 to 45 minutes. Lesson prices are $25.00 for weekly lessons, $30.00 for bi-weekly lessons, and $35.00 for monthly lessons. Lesson and reference materials are all free.
My top student won 1st place in Guitar Player Magazine's 2006 Guitar Hero Contest. Many of my other students pass auditions, win talent contests, form bands, and become performers and recording artists or are simply happy to just sit at home and strum some chords and sing some songs alone. I value and appreciate each and every student.
I like and I want to see all of my students smiling and happy. Give me a chance to prove all of this to you; actions speak louder than words. Please call to set up a free appointment to meet me and check out the studio and judge for yourself. Experience the difference! Don't Wait! Call Now! (386) 302 5400.

So let me start by saying that I was a self taught guitar player with 23 years experience. I was in a big rut and needed something to spice things up and get me motivated again. I saw Gene's ad and immediately gave him a call. Well it wasn't but a few lessons later that I had already learned how to find all the Chords in any Major key as well as Major and Minor chord forms, which basically added hundreds of new chords to my vocabulary. Wow, I was Psyched !!
Keep in mind I had no prior music theory other than reading tablature. Gene also taught me a few popular scales that I could apply to most of my 80's influences. I had learned a couple before but just didn't know how to apply them. One of the cool things was Gene noticed some of my self taught bad habits such as not using alternating picking, pick attack angle, etc.
Without offending me he showed me some tricks. It's hard but when I concentrate on correcting these bad habits my speed and accuracy are way better. I just automatically play cleaner and faster. It wasn't long before I nailed the leads and the solo in Boston's "More than a Feeling". Now I am learning the leads and solo in the Eagles "Hotel California" and am getting the chills now just talking about it.
I'M ACTUALLY PLAYING THESE SOLO'S FINALLY! ME!
And amazingly, I finally know what key I am in and what scales to play.
FAST, FUN, AND EASY? You Got That Right! Gene made learning theory fun and I am writing a list of all my favorite solo's to learn. Can't wait for my next lesson!
