My name is Danielle Swisher and I am a private tutor and music teacher located in Southwest Florida! I have been tutoring professionally for almost 3 years, going on my fourth! I have a BA in Music and Political Science with a minor in French from Winthrop University and an MSPS in International Relations from Suffolk University; I am a classically trained violinist and pianists with a background in singing as well.I have had the opportunity to perform with the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Rock Hill Chamber Orchestra, and in several small performances throughout my 20+ years of learning and performing the violin. I also studied abroad in France while I was a student at Winthrop University, which enabled me to master French. I also work as a professional writer, and have 5 years of experience in the non-profit sector, pursuing my passion for human rights and international affairs.

Danielle Swisher graduated from Everglades City School as salutatorian with honors and as honorary Laurette in 2004. While there, she participated in the Honors Society, Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (2001-2004), translated Spanish and tutored ESL and attended the South Carolina Suzuki Institute every summer from 1998-2003.
She has studied the violin since the age of 11, initially under Gregg Anderson of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. She received her BA in Music and Political Science and a minor in French from Winthrop University in 2009. During her studies there, she participated in Model UN, Rock Hill Chamber Orchestra, and studied abroad in Dijon, France at CIEF (Fall 2006) and in Aix-en-Provence, France at Centre d'Aix at IAU (Spring 2007).
