Jeff has a B.A. degree from Augustana College, an M.A. degree from University of Illinois - Springfield, and has pursued doctoral studies at the University of Iowa. He was an Assistant Professor at Marycrest College for 18 years, and recently retired after 3 years at Monmouth College to devote more time to his private music students and part-time teaching at the local colleges. Jeff has played guitar for over 40 years, and taught at McKay Music in Moline for 5 years prior to coming to Union Church/YMCA SMBC, where he teaches acoustic, electric, fingerstyle, 12-string, classical guitar, and mandolin.

Linda has a B.A. degree from Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. She has a teaching certificate in kindergarten through 12th grade music education with an emphasis on instrumental music. Linda was a band director for 3 years in three school districts. She also was a music instructor for children ages infant through 5th grade at the Villa Montessori School for 3 years. She accompanied the Glenview Middle School Choir for 7 years. Linda has played musical instruments for over 30 years. She currently teaches piano, woodwinds, and beginning brass, voice, ukulele, guitar lessons.
