I really like the versatility of Brian Hagen's music and the way he easily moves from classical to jazz forms in both his own compositions and his interpretations of other people's music.

Brian has been an outstanding piano instructor for both the children and adults in our family. He is patient, kind and a talented musician. His ability to adapt his music choices and instruction to each family member has helped them be engaged and excited about learning the piano. Brian has been extremely flexible with our family when circumstances mean altering our normal lesson schedule. We would highly recommend him as an instructor for all talent levels.

Brian is great with the kids and a very knowledgeable teacher. We really appreciated his openness to discussing ways to keep our son engaged.

Brian has taught all 3 of my children. He is talented and my kids appreciate his teaching style. Brian is also very open to trying new music styles. If he notices a student just going through the motions, he'll introduce new musical styles to spark their interests. My oldest enjoys classical, my middle appreciates modern movie tunes, and my youngest is learning the basics.
