I highly recommend Purple Deer. My daughter takes piano lessons with Anyi and I really like the way she teaches my daughter. She is very patient and has wonderful teaching skills. I can see my daughter's progress in each class and this is very positive for her development. The school is very welcoming to its students.

My daughter and I both are students at the Purple Deer. She is 5 and learns piano while I learn the guitar. So far over the last year our experience at the school has been nothing short of amazing. Their teachers are exemplary, really patient with kids (and adults), they keep the learning aspect fun and interesting. The owner of the school is approachable and kind. I've recommended this place to many and they've had similar experiences to mine.

My daughter has been with Julie and my son with Megan for the last 1.5 years. They are both brilliant teachers. My daughter has made so much progress because Julie is great at pushing her with the right sons. Megan has been excellent with my 4 year old son who looks forward to his classes every week. There are great recitals and thoughtful music sharing sessions. Highly recommend!

Purple Deer has been great for our kids. My triplets take lessons for three different instruments.all in one place! Super convenient and super communicative which is what every parent wants! They even mail out a cute monthly newsletter. Recital and group performance opportunities. Perfect for the turbulent years of learning music!

Our piano instructor is great! She is a ponderous with my son and so patient. He truly loves the piano because of her and purple deer.

Everything about this school has exceeded my expectations, and my kids really love their teachers and the makeup classes. I appreciate the fact they don't have a 24 hour cancellation policy, which has saved us so many times when my kids were sick. We feel so lucky to have found Purple Deer to restart piano lessons after others didn't "take" with an 8-year-old. The wonderful Patti kept things lively but also set an expectation to practice that helped a kiddo who didn't necessarily want to do so. The year culminated in a lovely, small-format recital that really locked in did our child her enjoyment of the whole thing. She's eager for more next year! Hi! My two daughters started piano lessons with Julie in spring. One of the daughters didn't have an experience and after a few lessons she started to play songs with both hands right away. It gives them great pleasure to be in company of Julie and learn more about beautiful music. Girls have already participated in spring/summer recital which is a great opportunity to share your work and also to learn from others. Good luck to everyone! We have 2 young children studying piano with Julie. From the very first day, she's managed to connect with them, fully capture their attention and guide them in creative and engaging fashion. Julie has a wonderful rapport with our children and her teaching methods truly allow them to maximize their potential and blossom. She is invested in their progress and keeps in touch throughout the week to provide feedback and support which we very much appreciate. Her dedication is sincere and she genuinely loves teaching. Her love for piano is contagious.

Julie works around the childrens personalities. My son for example is a visual learner so all of the music she teaches him she color coordinates the notes. She is very kind, patient, and passionate about piano and it shows through when my son plays! He looks forward to going there every week!
