I always wanted to play the guitar but at 38, I thought it was too late for me to learn. But Jason's encouragement and instruction in 6 months have taken me from not knowing how to hold the guitar correctly to playing songs and really enjoying the entire experience - including practicing! The jam sessions are fantastic and allow for an opportunity to play with really experienced musicians. It's not too late! If you've always wanted to play, LR Jams is the place to go.

The hours and costs are clear and consistent. The location is easy to get to, and near other stores you can visit while the kid does lessons (or you can relax in the waiting area, which is very nice). No one is pushing merchandise at you (no store here at all!). I can't say enough about Jason as an instructor. My son is 13 and Jason does a fantastic job of motivating, encouraging, and keeping him focused. He is great at teaching on his level and yet challenging him appropriately
