New guitar classes are forming! You can learn to play as a beginner, or improve your guitar skills, from one of our talented, professional instructors. Our classes are structured to accommodate all ranges of skill from complete novice to experienced guitarist. Learn popular songs, blues, rock, jazz, classical, or any other genre that interests you.

Sherrine Fossler

Sherrine was traditionally trained in piano, flute and voice. Her father played piano and organ, her mother directed children’s choirs and musicals in church, and her brother played saxophone and performed in jazz band. She began performing regularly at age 7

Larae Mikulecky

Music has always played a major part of LaRae’s life. Throughout high school she was involved in choir both at school and in her church. She also played the 12 string guitar for a while after high school. Her brother and sister play anything with strings! She is currently involved with Lifegate worship team in the choir.

Steve Byam

Steve Byam has 37 years of extensive playing experience. After growing up in Omaha, he moved to Nashville and spent 30 years on the road, touring and performing with various musicians.

Luke Polipnick

Luke Polipnick is a composer and guitarist who infuses modern jazz with rock, roots, and avant-garde sensibilities, navigating the contemporary musical landscape with fearless abandon and joyful aplomb.

Laurie Richards

Laurie is a traditionally trained pianist and flutist and has also played guitar, alto sax and oboe. She has taught traditional piano lessons and Kindermusik.

Very impressed with the program. You can learn to play piano and songs after the first lesson! Instead of focusing strictly on sheet music, you learn simple chords and the reinforcement and support of the instructors helps you learn better.
