Ann's Music World Private music lessons in addtion to classroom lessons offer great benefits for your child. For more than 26 years, we have been tailoring our lessons to adapt to each students abilities and rate of learning. We can turn an average player into a great musician!

Our highly qualified teachers have a variety of backgrounds and degrees, as well as many years of playing professionally and teaching private lessons. We offer lessons on piano, guitar, drums, and all band and orchestral instruments.Weve also found that students who take private lessons play their instruments twice as much as student who simply participate in classes at school.

DONT GO HERE WAIST IF TIME AND MONEY! So I rented a violin out for my daughter and ken the owner or what ever has the nerve to tell me that my account bounced um. no it didn't I have money in my account and he charged my husband in cash but then took money out of my credit account then couple days pass and I get a call from him saying I have a warrant out for my arrest call the department and they said that I don't have a warrant

This place is corrupt, twisted and willfully deceptive. My wife temporarily had an arrest warrant issued for her in Sarpy County because she missed a few payments (which is ridiculous considering that they NEVER attempted to contact her) after she arranged a rent-to-own a used cello for our child. She brought the cello back and paid them $300 and they still tried to extort another $800 out of her by refusing to call the county prosecutor until she gave that to them. When she contacted the prosecutor directly, he apologized and the warrant was removed in less than an hour. This business is filthy.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY! Last year I rented a flute from him at the school. My credit card has been charged every month. I did not have contact information for his business. At the end of the year did not know where to drop off the instrument. Called the phone number. Was hung up on. THEN HE STARTS CALLING MY CHILDREN TELLING THEM THERE IS A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST! Called the police.

No warrant, this civil matter. Never would of come to this if he would supply contact information. HE IS A LEIR! NOT PROFESSIONAL. Today the school provided the name of his business.

Just bought a used violin here for my granddaughter. Very reasonable. Ken (owner) was very knowledgeable about OPS requirements and fixed me up with everything she needs. This is a " mom and pop " store where you get lots of personal attention from people who actually know instruments.

DO NOT GO HERE! Took our child to inquire about guitar lessons. Owner/Instructor had our child sit down with a guitar, showed 3 separate chords, and had our child strum the guitar. This occurred in a span of less than 3 minutes. After this told us (in front of our child) that our child is too young, will fail, and can not be taught. Went on about how even kids older fail because of their lack of concentration and ability to direct.

As we walked out our child began to cry and was clearly discouraged. We will be looking for a different location and instructor even if it means not supporting our local community.

We rented a cello for my daughter from Anne's music world, after a while her bow broke, I called the store and the next day Ken ( I hope, I remember the name correct) came to school and fixed it at no charge! My daughter said he even came to her class and helped the orchestra teacher with tuning instruments for other students! Very pleased with the service! Thank you!

Like the two reviews before me, customer service is a major blind spot in Ken's operations. Overly rude, harsh, and threatening over a missed payment due to bank issuing a new card. Zero civility. When my youngest starts band, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Rented an instrument on a rent-to-own 2-year contract, after a few months bought the same model woodwind in poor condition off eBay and sent it to a diff. eBay source for rebuilding. The like-new rebuild ended up costing less than 5 mos rent and my student can't tell the diff. Didn't have a CS problem, just didn't want to overpay anymore.

This was the worst experience ever. i was doubled charged and overly charged. The website stated my son would receive his trombone in 2 days. My child never received the trombone and ive yet to receive a refund. Ken is very rude. He went as far as to tell my sons music teacher that I didn't get approved for the trombone. I never provided any of my personal Information To get approved.

The web site needs to be upgraded. Ken blamed everything on the website and the payment processing they are using. he didn't take ownership for anything. It was terrible! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Customer service is terrible and very unprofessional! I'm still out of money and I had to order my child's trombone from Amazon. They need to just close this store. It's useless!

You get what you pay for. The instruments were in good condition and repairs were easy to get taken care of. Payments are a headache. I got charged a fee for their systems error, that said I didn't have the funds in my account. I checked with my account the funds were in there, set aside for payment but their system didn't finish pulling the payment, dropping it after 3 days.

I received a late fee. They did waive it but said that it I would have to pay it in the future, despite it being a problem with their system. Finishing up payments for this cello and moving on. *update* I was threaten by Ken that he would have me arrested for not paying my bill. He said I haven't paid him when he is the one controlling the authorization and transaction of the payment.

I checked with my bank and he hasn't tried to pull payment since September 2015. I tried to call and reason with him, after he threatened and hung up on me and despite it being his mistake, to find out the balance to get it paid off, he said he didn't know then told me he wanted his cello back, not to call anymore and hang up. Who get's angry when some one calls to offer money and to rectify the situation? Save yourself the energy and avoid this place. The extra $15 a month is worth your peace.

For 2 plus years they did treat us well, answered any questions we had. For 2 plus years we have been making payments, now the bank changed my credit card for what ever reason and the last payment was declined. I get a harsh message on my machine demanding I return the violin so he can close the account. THE LAST PAYMENT! Did it ever cross your mind there was a change at the bank!

Never missed a payment and you try to say I need to return the violin instead of being civil and talking to me to figuire this out! Guess the rest of my children will do business elsewhere.

My mom bought me music lessons at Ann's Music World. The MAN who runs Ann's Music World is CREEPY. Further, his talent and skill at teaching is HORRIBLE! How am I supposed to learn from someone who is so terrible themselves? I asked everyone I met there if they ever met anyone who played really good at this place. They all said no. Don't take lessons at this place, find anywhere else.
