It is exhilarating to help young minds expand, watch nimble fingers race across a keyboard and witness the quiet confidence that comes from the ability to entertain one's self as well as an audience. Every day, my students surprise me with a unique insight, make me laugh out loud with a playful antic (both musical and non-musical) and touch my heart with their eagerness to show me what they have accomplished the week before.

Our goal at Burke Music Studio? Our students learn to think, to process, to create and to share that creation - in the way that gives voice to each student's unique style.

Kelly Burke

Kelly Burke began her musical studies as a pianist with renown Savannah Piano teacher Miss Eleanor Boyd. She studied violin with Mr. George Hofer and played in the Savannah Youth Orchestra. She received a Bachelor of Music Education from Columbus State University where she played in the Columbus Symphony, Macon Symphony and Albany Symphony. She received a Master of Music Education from the University of Tulsa where she played in the Tulsa Philharmonic, taught as a graduate assistant and maintained a private studio.
