It is our mission to find and develop amazing talent, to understand each student's needs and goals, and provide an environment in which the student can develop, expand and explore both musically and intellectually.

Our music teachers bring to the table a wealth of experience, knowledge and encouragement through their active involvement in the music world of NYC. Along with performances and group rehearsals, we encourage each student to diversify in their tastes.We match each student with a teacher, monitor their progress very carefully and ultimately send them out with the skills required to make their mark in the world.

Crescendo Productions follows the John Thompson Easiest Piano course (part one to part five) as an initial introduction to pianoforte. This method allows for the gradually introduction of note recognition and timing concepts through simplified pieces such as Mary Had a Little Lamb, Old MacDonald, Yankee Doodle. From this we can introduce the concept of major, minor (harmonic and melodic) and chromatic scales, arpeggios, and contrary motions.

Guitar

At Crescendo Productions we encourage guitar players, beginners to advance, to experiment with the three methods of learning guitar. Our first method is the efficient tabulation method whereby one basically maps out the notes on each string and learns to recognise these notes quickly which in turn enables the student to play a piece of music at their first lesson.

Vocal

If you speak, you sing - in actual fact, you sing as you speak! At Crescendo Productions, we take the student through an interview process to decide vocal range. Pamela, head of vocals, will, based on this information, create a custom session plan for your voice based on your level and goals. Included in these sessions, the student will learn the same tools and techniques used by opera performers, grammy winners, idol finalists etc.

Rosarii Falver

Rosarii Falvey, born in Ireland, studied music from the age of six to 26 with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and The Associate Board of London. Rosarii specializes in young students, believing that a good basic knowledge of music is the foundation to creativity.

Chris Mariner

Guitar teacher Chris Mariner earned his Bachelors degree in music from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Since returning to the east coast, Chris has been teaching guitar and music theory both privately and at Norwalk Community College.

Pamela Kuhn

Pamela Kuhn has dedicated her life to the art of singing. She earned her Bachelor of Music from the University of Oregon and went on to study with legendary accompanist/coach Gwendolyn Koldofsky at the University of Southern California gaining a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. She then moved to London to further her vocal studies with Vera Rozsa, teacher to Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
