I use an easier and superior way to master note reading. Did you take piano lessons when you were young? Was note reading the most difficult part of your practice? Were the bass notes more difficult than the treble notes and the really high and really low notes even more difficult? It doesn't have to be! I will teach your child to fully understand how to read notes! (Not just Every Good Boy Does Fine - FACE approach.)I believe in using only positive reinforcement in teaching, and I encourage each child to reach his or her potential. Although there is work involved, playing the piano should be fun! My piano studio is free from distractions and is a nice private area to allow the student to concentrate.

If you have a genuine interest in how to play piano and possibly how to read sheet music I would definitely recommend her -- if anything she can give you a solid foundation and understanding of music and piano in general that will probably translate to your own further pursuits in piano, music, and/or or other instruments.
I went through many books and online stuff and found a lot of conflicting confusing methods and information and perhaps a lot of information at one time - that may make sense now, but it did not make much prior to her lessons and practicing. She has it down to a way where if you are interested I believe you have an ability to learn and play.

I think she is geared more so at children and young adults which probably shows that she has patience and understanding to work at individual levels and speeds --- although if you are not a child or a teenager and still have some interest in music -- I would say give her a try definitely, as an Adult taking lessons.
