John Reynolds

John is a highly sought trumpeter in Southern California, adept in performing many styles of music. John holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Southern California as well as degrees from San Diego State University and Point Loma Nazarene University. He has taught private studio trumpet lessons since 1999, teaching a range of students from children to adults, novices to budding professionals.

I believe that studying music can enrich ones life. I believe that music making should be a daily activity. I believe that everyone has the ability to make beautiful music. As a teacher, my mission is to help each student recognize their potential, set goals both in the short and long term and assist them in reaching such goals. I truly believe that with a good attitude, diligence and good instruction, anyone can learn to become an expert musician.
