Michael Oyster Lessons are taught at our studio in Encinitas. During the lessons students are provided with a grand piano, various teaching aids and a comfortable learning environment. All students will have the opportunity to participate in recitals, group theory classes and other cultural enrichment activities in my studio including live concerts by local chamber music groups, jazz performers and video presentations of cultural events. Students should have a keyboard or piano (minimum requirement is an 88 key weighted action keyboard) and be able to schedule daily practice before starting lessons. Because students tend to develop a better since of dynamics and control with an acoustic piano (upright or grand) it is required for intermediate to advanced students. A regular lesson schedule is preferred.
