We teach piano, voice, cello, violin, songwriting and guitar. All private lessons provide one-to-one specific teaching to create the optimum learning environment. Along with teaching musicianship and instrument performance, we also include ear training, theory, and history as part of the training process. We also offer fun group classes - Musical Theatre, Guitar, Songwriting, String and MusicFun! (a music and movement program for children of all ages).We offer lessons in your home or at our Belle Meade studio location. We now offer lessons and group classes at select Nashville area schools and community centers.Our teachers are amazing! Students are assigned to a college-trained instructor that makes learning fun and interesting. Our teachers pride themselves in being patient and gentle-hearted and our teachers have a passion for music education!

After studying at Academie des Ecrins in Pelvoux, France Jamie Roberts obtained her BA in Music from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory. Founder and Director of The Music Staff Studio Performing Arts Academy, she has been teaching private lessons since 2003 and has taught music therapy practicum for one year.

I HIGHLY recommend using another studio for music lessons. We stopped using this studio for many reasons including, but not limited to: constant billing issues, how poorly the owner treats her employees, and the unbelievable lack of organization. If you're looking for music lessons for your child, I suggest using someone, ANYONE else.
