We are conveniently located in Plano, TX, and offer private lessons for bass (electric and upright), drums, flute, guitar, piano, violin, and voice.

Ai-wei Chang
With rich experience as a solo violin, chamber music, and orchestral player, Ms. Chang started learning piano at the age five, and studying violin since the age of eight. Ms. Chang fully indulges herself into chamber music with colleagues; she won the 2nd and 3rd places in 1998 and 1999 in Taiwanese Chamber music competition.
George Bond
While living in Raleigh, North Carolina for a brief period of time after high school, he discovered a love for Jazz, Country and Jazz/Rock fusion guitar styles. He is currently playing with “Highwaymen Live”, a tribute show to Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, and is on the orchestra staff at First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas.
Jaime Van Der Sluys
Originally from Snellville, Georgia, Jaime Van Der Sluys is a dynamic vocalist with a deep soulful sound and a wide stylistic range. She receiveed her B.M. in jazz vocal performance at the University of North Texas. Jaime began her singing career at a young age singing in church and school performances.

My daughter Hannah has been learning flute in Alliance for nearly 5 years now since 5th grade, the instructors here are great. Paige is the greatest and makes learning playing flute so much fun. Hannah loves to come to Alliance Academy and has made great progress. in her 6th grade, she became the youngest in her middle school's highest band. and made all region every year she is legible and was the first chair in her middle school's top band.
This summer Paige told my daughter that she can tryout the Greater North Texas Youth Band, my daughter tried and made it first chair. My daughter went to high school this year, and made to the 2nd highest band in the all region all age bands. Thank you Paige and Alliance Academy for teaching my daughter, You guys are simply the best and I really mean it.

George teaches my son guitar and has been doing it for the last 2 years now. We are extremely happy. I can say with all honesty that he plays the guitar and practices because of Georges classes. He enjoys playing because of him. Paige as just started teaching my daughter and within the first couple of weeks of lessons, my daughter has already fallen in love. Great place to begin your journey into learning music.

Both my kids are new to music. Paige was great in getting the right teacher to work with a 6 and 8 year old. The kids love it so much they fight over who gets to go first. This is also the first activity that the kids don't fuss about practicing. The kids are having such a positive experience. AMA is great!

I highly recommend Alliance Music Academy and particularly Ms Paige's approach to the young kids. She is very accommodating and has extreme patience and understands every child's needs and abilities.
