Every type of private music lesson is offered at Knox Music Studios, including Suzuki, traditional, "by ear, " improvisation, rock, bluegrass, fiddle, classical, modern and pop. Choice of more than one teacher for each instrument to fit students' personality and learning style. Instruction is available for children as young as four to great-grandparents! All levels of musicianship, from beginners to collegiate level, can be accommodated.Our teachers have or are pursuing music degrees but more importantly - all are excellent, gifted instructors that really connect with their students! Our main focus is teaching and nothing else! Our specialty is the "private lesson" format, ensuring our students receive individualized attention in a professional learning environment free of distractions.

Knox Music Studios has been great for our family of young musicians! Matt and Lynn are very professional and customer focused. All our experiences with their teaching staff have been wonderful! Their business has expanded to Cedar Bluff which is even more convenient for us. My children have learned so much through them and we especially appreciate special events like the recitals and student appreciation day. We hope to try Suzuki with some of our younger kids who haven't started lessons yet. I highly recommend them!

I found Knox Music Studios purely by accident. Very ironic as I work within 5 minutes. I finally convinced my middle daughter to take music lessons, saw the sign and walked in. I asked if they had classes for Suzuki Violin and what the class schedule would be. I gave Lynn my information and in a short time she had a teacher and a choice of schedule times.
One thing that really made me confident in the school was the firm but understanding teaching by Meade. After 6 months I am amazed at the progress of my daughter. Thanks so much Knox Music Studios

My boys have been piano students at Knox Music Studios for close to 1 year now. We are so pleased at the progress they have made under their patient teachers! The teachers and staff are most gracious and helpful. Both boys have just "graduated" to the next level of lessons. They are so proud of themselves, and looking forward to their new material.
My husband and I are thrilled to see their excitement. Additionally, Matt came out to our house before we started lessons and got our piano beautifully tuned. He couldn't have been friendlier as my toddler sat in fascination and watched him work.

My family and I have been coming to Knox Music Studios on and off since 2010. Since our first visit, Matt has provided expert service and sound advice, from fixing our vintage Fender Rhodes, to tuning my mother-in-laws piano, to recommending voice lessons for our oldest, to providing me with piano lessons, and we've just recently enrolled our youngest in beginner piano there as well!
They have wonderful instructors who teach a variety of instruments to even the youngest student (ours is four)! And the fact that they are all under one roof makes multiple lessons for multiple kids a breeze. Our daughter's progress is truly impressive, and we attribute most of that to our wonderful teacher Rachelle. I would wholeheartedly recommend KMS for music instruction as well as for repairs in all things piano!

My son has been taking piano lessons at Knox Music Studios for 5 years now. He has been taking lessons with Gina for 4 years now. She is a very good teacher and we have been very pleased with his progress. This summer he also started taking guitar lessons with Devin and he loves that. He is learning alot and improving quickly. He takes piano weekly and guitar twice a month. Matt was very accomodating and flexible to allow us to do that. Matt also tuned our piano for a number of years and helped us in the purchase of a new "used" piano when we needed it. (It was a piano he had refurbished) He has alway been great with any issues we have had with either of the pianos.
He also helped give me recommendations and information when we were looking for a guitar for Tyler. I would highly recommend Knox Music Studios for anyone interested in music lessons for their child. All of the music teachers I have interacted with are young, enthusiastic, patient and great with kids.
