Gene Ford Music Our mission is to provide students with the best available instructors that know how to kindle a passion for music, and encourage the commitment to succeed with the instrument of choice. Our instructors have been selected for their unique combination of education and experience. Each has demonstrated both an exceptional heart for teaching and success as a performer.

We encourage and strive to develop strong communication between parent/instructor to ensure the student's healthy progression with the instrument. Our roster students are encouraged to participate the annual showcase. This showcase demonstrates the progress that the student has made, provides an opportunity to hone the students' performance skills, and may give the students experience performing in a group.

Gene Ford
Gene is a Nashville session player, songwriter and has toured with many artists. Most importantly, he has maintained a successful teaching roster, providing highly individualized lessons for beginners and recording artists alike.
Ian Duthie
Ian Duthie
Ian graduated the guitar program at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA in 1987. Studies included all modern styles and influences as well as music theory, song writing, live performance and recording. Specializing in rock guitar Ian has worked with many independent artists and bands.
Matt Lund
Matt Lund
Matt Lund performs, composes and teaches music. His main instrument is electric guitar but he also plays acoustic, classical and pedal steel guitar. Mr. Lund has professional experience performing and recording Rock, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Pop, R&B, Folk, Country, Heavy Metal, and Fusion.
Janet McLaughlin
Janet McLaughlin
Janet has 20 years experience teaching guitar - Janet’s teaching spans from the basics of chords, rhythm, music reading and the Nashville number system to the nuances of various genres and styles. She has a Bachelor of Music Education (BME, classical guitar major, voice minor) and is a professional singer-songwriter.

Bethany Dick-Olds
Montana native Bethany Dick is a fiddle teacher/player, singer and songwriter. She started playing fiddle when she was 14, and began competing a year later. As a competitive fiddler, she won several major titles, including: 1997 National Junior Fiddle Champion, 1998 &1999 Montana State Fiddle Champion, and 2001 Tennessee State Fiddle Champion.
Brian Lucas
Brian Lucas
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Brian Lucas has developed a style that caters to the unique needs of each student. He combines real world experience with proven teaching techniques. Brian holds a Performance degree from the Berklee College of Music and is an active member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
