Edina Pastyik Music Studio

My passion for violin and for teaching shows in my students. All of them place very well in scholastic testing and occasionally qualify to perform at special events. I graduated from the world renowned Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest with two masters level degrees. One of them specifically addressed teaching violin and viola from the very beginning level in various methods.

I enjoy working with enthusiastic students, with adults who want to learn to help their children at home, or just play for their own pleasure. Upon request I prepare my students for auditioning to the higher level of their school orchestra and in some cases for auditions to respected youth orchestras such as the D.A.A.Y.O and the G.D.Y.O.

I started my teaching career in Hungary in 1994 then continued in South Korea, Japan, and currently I'm an instructor in the Plano and Richardson Independent School districts as well as maintaining my private violin studio in Dallas with success.
