Jammin With You! is the coolest and most unique music school around, providing quality in-home music lessons throughout Boston and the Metro West area. We offer a wide range of instrument instruction, including piano, guitar, bass, drum, saxophone, voice and violin lessons.

What makes our school so unique is that your home is our school! Our teachers come to you to teach you and/or your children, all in the comfort of your home. We also provide a family-friendly Program and Performance Center, located in Wellesley, MA. Our center is a popular destination for rockin B-day parties along with our sold out JamBaby and JamKids classes.

Devin McKnight

Piano

Devin McKnight is a native to Silver Spring, MD in the Washington D.C. area. Devin has always been involved in writing and performing multiple styles of music since High School. He moved to Boston in 2009 to attend Berklee College of Music after completing over 4 years of Jazz guitar training under D.C. Jazz greats Paul Pieper and Paul Wingo.

Lee Moretti

Guitar

Lee Moretti was born and raised in the quirky art town of Providence, Rhode Island. Her musical journey began at age two, when she started playing with her jazz musician father's keyboard and experimenting with singing and sounds. This early creativity marked the beginning of a life in music. She began studying guitar at 12, playing in bands and focusing on rock and pop throughout her teen years until attending Berklee College of Music.

Jessica Jacobs

Voice

Soprano Jessica Jane Jacobs is a graduate of Northwestern University (Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance) and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Artist Diploma in Opera). Throughout her training, she has had the privilege of working with many of the best musicians in the field.

Patrick Hanlin

Drum

Patrick Hanlin is an Indiana import, arriving in Boston in 2002, in order to continue his schooling. Patrick attended and graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. After finishing his degree in Professional Music (a music business/performance degree), Patrick began building an extensive resume, including dozens of album credits and six national tours.

Kara Kulpa

Violin

Kara Kulpa is a new resident of New England, though she’s long been a part of its unique music scene. A native of Chicago, IL, she spent her childhood studying classical violin; eventually earning two performance scholarships to Illinois State University, where she studied and became a Music Therapist.

Sonya is great. She really inspired my daughter and worked with her to adapt a popular song that was too difficult for her to play into a version that she could play. Sonya was very encouraging and positive and fun for my daughter to work with. We look forward to continuing lessons with her in the fall.

We had our son's 3rd birthday party at Jammin' With You, and it was incredible from start to finish. Steve was great in getting everything set up for the party, always so responsive to emails and any questions we had. Shana and her daughter were both so incredibly helpful and organized the day of the party, and helped make it stress-free for us! Plus they took a ton of pictures for us during the party!

And Josh was just incredible. He is so energetic, engaged with the kids, funny, and fun! We received so many compliments on how amazing he was, and how great a party it was. And we even got to tour Josh's office after, which our curious 3 year old absolutely loved. Thank you to all of you for an amazing party. All the kids AND adults had a great time!

Jammin' With You means - consistently energetic and passionate teachers that are attentive, flexible, and considerate toward all students. My son participates with enthusiasm and runs to me after each class excited to share what he learned with Mr. Josh. Children grow up too fast these days, so I feel grateful that Jammin' With You offers a fun learning space to laugh and play and dance and sing. Wow! What an amazing place for music lessons! Our son (4 years old) has been learning drums virtually, and it's been an awesome experience. His teacher is kind, patient, and fun, and the virtual recital (superJAMS) that we just participated in was well organized and so much fun! We will definitely be continuing with our lessons and maybe even adding additional instruments in the future.

My two elementary-aged kids have piano lessons with JWY and it's been a delightful experience for both of them. Matt is an engaging, creative and patient teacher and both my kids look forward to their lessons every week. The way that Matt brings popular songs into the curriculum and also let's my kids pick the songs that they like, makes it so fun for them to learn. They even practice without me having to tell them to! Highly recommend!

My 5 year old daughter had a private piano lesson with JP, and I truly cannot recommend him enough! He was engaging, friendly, professional and patient. I was unsure what the lesson would look like since this was done virtually, but JP had two pianos-one to play on and a smaller one to hold up and show my daughter exactly what he was doing. By the end of her first 30-minute lesson, she was playing simple songs and reading the notes on the staff. JP was exceptional and Jammin' With You made the whole process so easy, from finding the right teacher, to coordinating the lesson, and communicating effectively. My daughter is already so excited for her next lesson, and I cannot recommend them all enough!

Jammin With You is the best! My daughter started out in the toddler classes and birthday parties, then did Stage Jam, and now she is taking private drum lessons and is in a band with Jammin With You. The teachers are AMAZING, and it's been so fun to watch my daughter grow musically over the last decade.
